Ruben Feliciano St. Marks Stabbing Aug. 22, 2010 Healed

This photo is of Ruben Feliciano with his brother 5 days after being stabbed on St. Marks Place

Ruben is healing and doing better.     Ruben Feliciano would like to thank  the People he didn't get to thank that helped save his life and to the NYPD for catching the culprits.

Ruben Feliciano will be 28 years old next month and he survived a brutal stabbing on St. Marks Place on August 22, 2010.

Note from Suzannah B. Troy   Here is the photo I took the morning after the stabbing of the crime scene on St. Marks Place which is why  Ruben contacted me.

Ruben was violently stabbed in the chest.   He was stabbed in his right ventricle in his heart- he blacked out and was taken to Bellevue hospital.  He told me they supposedly resuscitated him twice.  He also has a large scar on his head.   The photos show him with his brother 5 days after the stabbing -- at the Trauma ward at Bellevue.

Ruben was at Sing Sing Karaoke on St. Marks Place celebrating some good news with his cousin.   His cousin was also assaulted and although he was not wounded as badly as Ruben he was really suffered post-traumaitc stress from attack.  (I, Suzannah can empathize as I am suffering now from being assaulted in a medical office.)

Ruben left Sing Sing to buy cigarettes at the Deli when he got in to an altercation with two men.

Here is report from The Villager Police to read what happened.

Ruben says Happy Holidays to all and he is grateful alive thanks to a fast response by rescue workers and Bellevue Hospital.

Ruben admits was not drinking responsible at the time and he urges people to not make the same mistake he made.   There are people out there that will hurt you so please drink please drink responsible.  He is happy to be alive.  You can see from the photo how his brothers feels.

Thanks Ruben for contacting me and good look with this new chapter of your life.
