Bravo, thanks and gratitude to the FDNY.
After 9-11, it was and is hard to believe the FDNY and our fire houses are an economic casualty; a photo and newsreporter like this one underscore why we need fire houses open. How can Bloomberg push a reckless tsunami of development on old NY's infrastructure and close fire houses. The developers and everyone that profited, profits don't want these questions asked!
I have had countless letters published on saving our fire houses in The NY Post, NY Daily News, The New York Times and even on in the Wall Street Journal called "Betrayal at Ground Zero".
The mayor and his new deputy mayor Stephen Goldsmith better not close our fire houses. Instead cut corruption government spending and slush money.
Thanks for tuning in,
Suzannah B. Troy
