Join us for Protest Against Joe Tacopina Chad Seigel NYPD Rape Cop Lawyers tomorrow Wed. May 11 12:30 to 1:00 lunch time
May 11, Wednesday
275 Madison Avenue by 40th Street 12:30 -1:00
organized by Suzannah B. Troy artist activist
Violence towards women is a global issue and rape is an epidemic.
Rapes here in NY are reported up 24 percent according to fox http://www.myfoxny.com/dpp/news/rape-cases-up-24-percent-in-new-york-city-20110425-lgf
I got the paper work to file a grievance against Chad Seigel for his "Venus Fly Trap" question comparing women's private parts to a Venus Fly Trap asking if "it" snaps shut? and clearly comparing us to flesh eating plants was to paint us as aggressors which is Joe Tacopina and Chad Seigel's strategy.
Tacopina Seigel hired Dr. Mitchell Essing to refute the forensic evidence and this is the MD that handled over a baby girl to be named Lisa to Joel Steinberg with no paper work who beat her to death 6 years.
Below I am wearing a custom shirt I made for the protest tomorrow on my sleeves and on the back is Yu Yau's name to honor her memory. She was grabbed by the hair in Queens and pulled in to an alley rape and beaten to death with a steal pipe.
The T-shirt has a custom made message front and back and I consider it a piece of art calling for justice and to stop the violence towards women by going after educated lawyers that have put the rape victim on trial.
I have LGBT and US Veterans that have committed to standing along with me tomorrow.
Please cover this protest because the concerns are global concerns from babies to grannies there are rapes, high statistical numbers of domestic violence here in NYC and just too many deaths with baby girls to grannies being murdered.
A great concern is even more rape victims will no come forward.
My name is Suzannah B. Troy. I am not running for political office. I have gotten speed bumps for Anna Silver school when a public member from Community Board 2 told me I would never get it and I got bathroom doors returned to the women's bathrooms in Tompkins and I had the pleasure of seeing a handicap woman and her assistance go in and close and lock the door. I have volunteered with pre-school handicap kids at Rusk at NYU Medical Center and donated my white blood cells twice and gallons of platelets. I am too tired to donate right now. Please help me send a message that the violence towards women, rapes and even the way they are treated in court must change which is why I am filing a grievance with the Supreme Court. The US Veterans are joining me because I had a successful protest against the manager of the Mercer Hotel for harassing them and several are handicap. Among the most handicapped is Eric who is 80 and can barely walk. He is coming with his cane and he insists on standing to the best of his ability and supporting me protest and I hope you will so we can send a message to NYC and to the world.
Thank you,
Suzannah B. Troy
It does not matter how we dress, if we are drunk or a baby or grandmother -- no one can be allowed to rape us.
Excerpt from my speech tomorrow:
We are here to Stop Rape Rapes are up in NYC and Rapes are under reported. After the the Rape Cop Trial even more girls and women will be too scared to come forward so that is why we are here!
First thank you for being here! You showing up makes a difference. We here to send a message to slim bucket lawyers that put rape victims on trial!
Violence towards women from babies to Grannies is a globally crisis and in NY we have a rape epidemic.
Before we get to the hate crime that happened in court by NYPD rape cop's lawyers Joe Tacopina Chad Seigel I want to ask every New Yorker to help stop crime - to keep your eyes peeled - to call 911 - we must stop the violence!!!! We urge victims of rape to come forward which takes immense courage.
Yu Yao 28 years old was randomly grabbed by her hair, pulled in to an alley where was raped and beaten to death by a monster with a pipe.
Yu Yao wanted to be a lawyer. She would have been the best of lawyers.
Let's get to the worst.

Tenant Activists Arrested At Rent Law Protest
Photos from today's
Rent-Law Protest!
Why were tenants arrested? What was this protest about?
At the site of the Rent Guidlines Board's Preliminary Vote on maximum rent increases for over two million rent-stabilized tenants, activists were arrested in a protest highlighting the rapidly-growing population of New Yorkers who lack any rent protections at all.
Over a million New York City renters live in apartments where there is no such thing as a maximum rent increase, and where they can be evicted for any reason or no reason whatsoever. Tens of thousands of apartments are deregulated every year through vacancy destabilization, and we're on track to lose rent regulations entirely through this planned phase-out. Deregulation has already depleted our city's affordable housing stock by 300,000 apartments since the late 1990s.
Our rent regulation laws expire on June 15th, leaving six weeks for our Governor and state legislature to fix them. The affordable housing crisis is NOW, and we demand that our rent regulation laws are expanded to protect all tenants, and that all forms of deregulation are eliminated.
Preserving the affordable housing that we already have will accomplish more to ease our housing crisis than any program aimed at building and/or subsidizing new housing. Policies aimed at further enriching landlords at the expense of the housing needs of New York residents are the result of lobbying by landlords, who are consistently the top-spending special interest group in New York.
Governor Andrew Cuomo has said that he will renew rent regulations for the 2.5 million people who currently live in these apartments, but he has not committed to ending 'vacancy destabilization'. If Cuomo does not push to end this loophole in the rent-stabilization system while renewing the laws, he will be promoting its demise.
New York's rent stabilization laws are the cornerstone of affordability in New York City. They protect twice as many people as every other affordable housing program combined - yet they require no subsidies.
Strengthen our rent laws to protect ALL
Fake 911 Call sounds like Rape Cop from 9th Precinct
Metropolitan Council for Housing Stronger Rent Laws to Protect All Tenants Be There Today!
| TODAY... All tenants out to protest for Stronger Rent Laws to Protect All Tenants!
TODAY - Tuesday, May 3, 2011 4:30 PM - Cooper Union in Manhattan 7th Street & the Bowery (3rd Ave)
Subway: 6 to Astor Place, N/R to 8th Street
Bring noise-makers, signs, and your neighbors!
We are losing our entire rent regulation system because landlords are allowed to deregulate vacant apartments. As the Rent Guidelines Board prepares to vote for maximum rent increases for over 2 million rent-stabilized tenants, over a million more New York City renters have no protections at all. Everyone deserves the basic rights of rent regulation, and we must act now to end the phase-out of our system.
Our rent regulation laws expire on June 15th, leaving only six weeks to fix them! We need you there to make this a loud and lively event.
Stay to join rallies for fairness at the Rent Guidelines Board - leading up to the RGB's Preliminary Vote at 5:30. |

Osama Bin Laden Dead NYC is on alert + Suzannah B. Troy Protest’s the NYPD Rape Cop’s Lawyer’s Tactics 100 Centre St., St. Marks Place + the Subway!
St. Mark’s Place Photo by Lorcan OtwayI am really not going to write anything about this topic-- Bin Laden right now. The newspapers are filled to the brim and the fact is we have to be even more vigilant of yet another terrorist attack or attacks.
In the meantime I went down to 100 Centre Street and was quiet for an occasional angry outburst.
My signs quote: Chad Seigel and Judge Carro.
When the reporter for The New York Daily News approached I did let out an angry outburst....a very slim to me “ugly” from the inside out woman came and started verbally beating me up. It would be laughable except I am holding a sign about the viscous cruel tactics of the NYPD rape cop lawyers. She didn’t like me yelling so I apologized. She than said she did not like my tactics. I did not ask her if she like Joe Tacopina and Chad Seigel’s tactics but to pacify her I said I am sorry but she kept walking away and running back to me like a yoyo so than I let her have it. She talked to me about perceptions. I asked her do you think perhaps your perception is off? She replied everyone’s perception is off. So I ended the conversation by saying, than we agree -- your perception is off and finally she slithered away. Passerby’s either walked by, one never looking up from his newspapers to many New Yorkers nodding.
I gather Tacopina is despised in general -- heard some rumblings.
I am very, very tired.

I was in the subway and I saw people reading my sign so I spoke up and told the entire subway car why I was protesting. The car was filled with New Yorkers of every color, men and women and all ages. I felt everyone of them supported me! It was like a scene out of a movie.
Very, very moving.
