UPDATE 4/25: this morning we finished hearing witnesses from the prosecution! Their video expert finished his testimony, and they briefly called up a paralegal who worked on interviewing cops about the incident. After that we started hearing witnesses from the defense. Those were Jake Stevens, who was with Cecily on M17, Cecily's father James McMillan, OWS activist Yoni Miller, who was also present on M17, and Susan Kang, who took the photos of Cecily's bruises immediately after her release from custody. Due to a scheduling conflict with one of the jurors, we will not be in court on Monday! The next court day is Tuesday at 9:30am. Today we will also be tree pruning, and flower essence making from our peach blossoms.

Please join us in a big, L.E.S. & East Village Celebration and sidewalk parade through our neighborhood's community gardens, starting at Children's Magical Garden at 1 PM! (more details below).

And before the parade starts, join us for children and people of all ages mask & headdress making from 11- 1 PM.

Wear your most fabulous spring-y outfits and join us in celebrating the opening of our neighborhood's gardens!

Much more to come in May, including CMG's very first crowdfund withStartsomegood.com  We'll be raising money for an incredible youth internship program that will transform our community garden in some magical ways.

We also have one request... we need a new little red flyer wagon!  Over the years, the little red wagon has been the hardest working garden helper/ hauler-that-is-also-a-child's-toy imaginable... hauling out rubble, hauling in mulch and buckets of water.  We need a new one, as ours went missing last year. Went to my YouTube with a link to John Liu's audit and demand for a criminal investigation in to 911.  

It's gone.  Did Scott Stringer remove John Liu's audit to protect Bloomberg and all involved. 

I just called Loretta Lynch's Investigative Unit this morning as I have in the past since Cy Vance and Preet Bharara have done nothing in almost 2 years and the 2 911 Command Centers are in Lynch's juristication.

911 bigger than CityTime crime where Mayor Bloomberg and puppet Quinn green lighted all this corruption and over billing while John Liu made history as comptroller fighting to stop the theft in my opinion a hero.

Quinn also did nothing to pressure Cy Vance to prosecute St Vincent's crooks because the Bloomberg administration did not want attention brought to Rudin acquisition.
