Help the East Village keep its character: Join us this Wednesday June 10th
We at GVSHP are concerned that proposed city rules shaping new construction could both damage the special low-rise character of the East Village and provide little value in return.
A hearing at Community Board 3 this coming Wednesday, June 10th will provide a chance for the city to present its plan and for the public to respond. That’s why YOUR voice is needed.
Please write back to let me know that you can speak at the hearing, to be held at Grand Street Settlement, 80 Pitt Street, at 6:30 p.m.
(If you cannot attend, please send a letter urging our elected officials to uphold neighborhood zoning protections with this link.)
Thank you for caring about our community. Further information is below.
