The Tenants' Bill of Rights law would require that a summary of basic tenants' rights is posted in the lobby of every apartment building in New York City, and handed to every tenant along with their lease. The Metropolitan Council on Housing helped draft this legislation, and on Wednesday, the bill will be introduced into the City Council. Imagine a city where tenants are no longer taken advantage of because they don't know their basic rights. Now, help this become reality!
