Do landlords want empty store fronts which can be seen on so many blocks through out NYC or are they going to do the right thing and take back stores communities city wide would welcome back with open arms?

When I confronted the mayor on the John Gambling show about the East Village being mega dormed to death, sky piercing mega dorms and mirrored condos reflect a history destroyed, communities no longer welcome, evictions rising, we need community outreach resource centers in the mega dorms, the mayor replied, just a few people feel the way Suzannah feels.  (Nice way to attempt to diminish what I was saying, hence I turned to John Berger, using youtube as my art.)

Hey I heard on the news Mike Bloomberg spent 83 million to grab the title "Mayor" for the 2nd time setting I am guessing a world record in spending money to be mayor of New York City.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Bloomberg

He is now the richest man in NYC so let us see if he spends a even more to buy popularity and his third term!

Our founding fathers never allowed for the longevity and immense wealth with more multi-billionaires and mega millionaires as Americans are marrying, divorcing, inheriting fortunes and few like Bloomberg that actually made their own wealth. Therefore we need to limit how much a person can spend on their campaign because democracy is being distorted! I call NYC oligarch central and we have so many mini-Mike wannabes.

I wish we could have term limits for every part of government including senate and house of representatives down to community boards here in NYC where we are deprived of the voting for the people that supposedly represent our communities! The office of the President of the United States is limited to two terms as a standard for term limits...which mayor king Mike Bloomberg has seemed to forgotten about....the Presidency is the highest office at least in theory for America. I was so upset I returned to post 2 more comments.  It just feels like more often than not, he or she that has more money wins...and the laws favor the rich as in mega bucks, developers, landlords, etc.

I forget to put my name Suzannah B. Troy. I voted for Mike Bloomberg twice because I believed in him. Little did I know that he and his mega millionaire socialite city planner would take what was left of the East Village and allow NYU to mega dorm it to death, allow Cooper Union and other greedy developers to make the the historic area look like a bad xerox of Dubai. If they had showed their plan for what was my home for the last quarter century, I would never have voted for him and if he offered me 3 billion dollars to for a third term, the answer is "NO!". Amanda Burden's green light for Cooper Union to supersize their little Science Building to lease it for 99 years by a subway stations so delipidated they leak and on rainy days the Village looks like Venice, Italy. The mayor and Burden pushed a tsunami of community crushing development on "old" New York's infrastructure and too many people have been displaced and I continue to worry for the people's very safety. Do the research and see how many infrastructure breaks and related problems we have had since the Bloomberg administration. Look at the state of the subways by these rapid sky piercing mirrored builds that reflect a history destroyed and communities city wide no longer welcome. Greed was the priority and I am surprised Columbia U., Cooper Union and NYU students do not protest the destruction of our community for an expansion that is dangerous and reckless. I did not see the mayor at one rally to fight eviction in the East Village/Lower East Side! Even the President of the United States, the highest office in America doesn't get to change the rules and run for three terms.


We need more limits and the end of "Wall Street" as part of this economic meltdown was proof and higher education expanding dangerously and recklessly here in NYC is proof these powerful real estate magnates with not for profit status need to capped and reigned in and city council who voted themselves a raise did not have the right to prevent New Yorkers from voting and yes or no term limits.

Suzannah B. Troy's blog has moved and my advise is do not use google's free blogger

and my advice to you if you want a free blog is do not use google's free blogger which is this site.  I also paid for advertising quite a while ago with google and I would advise users not to go for cheap advertising with google because not only did it backfire but it cost me.


Google has some amazing achievements but their customer service is the worst on the planet and if they screw up they won't make amends and like any mega bucks entity --  they are confident you won't sue them or have the money to really go after them they way they deserve being held accountable.  (The USPS is the worst but I paid Google and as an American you aren't given a choice but forced to use the USPS although I do my best to never use the USPS or set foot in a post office.)  In some ways google is like the USPS  becaues you don't have a choice about dealing with them.  I would not be warning you and wasting my time if they had customer service.

I think of someone that took advantage of me and he was like google in some ways and harmed me but he had the deepest pockets.  It took over ten years and karma was served justice so it takes patience but I warn off consumers from google blogger and google advertising.  Google is not saving you anything, just the opposite.  

In contrast Apple has the best customer service.   I have been seeing advertising for a new phone that competes with iphone that is partnered with google and since my experience with google customer service was the worst I would say go Apple.


Google actually uses my name to plug their free blogger.  I guess they feel that is part of the package including the worst customer service but know my experience with the free blogger left me with this message.  Do not use Google's free blogger.

Below seee Google using me to sell you on their free blogger but you heard it from me do not use their free blogger it is the worst free blogging system out there.
